Salvation is based on accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour. Salvation is therefore based on faith.
John 3:18 NKJV
“He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.”

God’s special life is called “Zoe” in the Greek language.
John 10:10 NKJV
“The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.”

This word “Zoe” is translated as “Eternal Life.”
1 John 5:11 NKJV
“And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.”

Everyone who has the Son of God, also has this “Eternal life” automatically.
1 John 5:12 NKJV
“He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.”

The whole gospel is founded on believing the words of Jesus Christ.
Romans 1:16 NKJV
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.”

Confession brings possession.
Romans 10:9 NKJV
“that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”

Faith in one’s heart, together with the confession of one’s mouth, brings salvation.
Romans 10:10 NKJV
“For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”

Paul introduced Jesus Christ in his gospel message in Antioch of Pisidia.
Christ is from David’s lineage.
Acts 13:23 NKJV
“From this man’s seed, according to the promise, God raised up for Israel a Savior—Jesus—“

May you abide in the Saviour’s loving care. May you be established in the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, in Jesus’s name.

Paul’s fully recorded sermon had all the necessary tenets of the gospel. The gospel concerns man’s relationship with our Saviour Jesus Christ.
John 3:16 NKJV
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”

Jesus Christ is the central message of the gospel. Paul began his sermon by tracing the history of Israel from their deliverance from Egypt up to king David.
Acts 13:22 NKJV
“And when He had removed him, He raised up for them David as king, to whom also He gave testimony and said, I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after My own heart, who will do all My will.’”

Paul then speaks about how God raised Jesus Christ our Saviour from the lineage of David.
Acts 13:23 NKJV
“From this man’s seed, according to the promise, God raised up for Israel a Savior—Jesus—“

The gospel is actually the fulfilment of several promises and prophecies of God.
Acts 3:18 NKJV
“But those things which God foretold by the mouth of all His prophets, that the Christ would suffer, He has thus fulfilled.”

All the life and acts of Jesus Christ were done in fulfilment of prophecy.
The birth of Christ.
Matthew 1:18 NKJV
“Now the birth of Jesus Christ was as follows: After His mother Mary was betrothed to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Spirit.”

It was a fulfilment of prophecy.
Matthew 1:22 NKJV
“So all this was done that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying:”

Isaiah prophesied a virgin would give birth.
Matthew 1:23 NKJV
“Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which is translated, “God with us.”

May you have faith to receive the fulfilment of all the promises of God. May you know the truth that sets free, in Jesus’s name.

God’s plan of salvation is a simple plan. A man does not need to be highly educated to be saved. Both a professor and an elementary school pupil can be saved, by hearing the same gospel message.
Psalms 19:7 NKJV
“The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul; The testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple;”

The word of God imparts understanding.
Psalms 119:130 NKJV
“The entrance of Your words gives light;
It gives understanding to the simple.”

Almighty God even chooses the foolish things by worldly standards.
1 Corinthians 1:27 NKJV
“But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty;”

Our God has made Christ become wisdom for the Believers.*
1 Corinthians 1:30 NKJV
“But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God—and righteousness and sanctification and redemption—“

Human wisdom failed to find God.
1 Corinthians 1:21 NKJV
“For since, in the wisdom of God, the world through wisdom did not know God, it pleased God through the foolishness of the message preached to save those who believe.”

God’s salvation flows through faith.
Ephesians 2:8 NKJV
“For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,”

Everybody can choose to believe.
John 3:15 NKJV
“that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.”

May you choose God’s way, as you go to church.
