Resurrection: 6
By Rev Robert Ampiah-Kwofi

Christ’s resurrection was the greatest demonstration of supernatural power ever displayed since creation.
Ephesians 1:19-20 NIV
“And his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is the same as the mighty strength he exerted when he raised Christ from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms.”

The great power exerted in Christ’s resurrection is now working on the behalf of all children of God.

*The uniqueness of Christ’s resurrection*
Several people had been raised from the dead before Christ.
Elijah and Elisha both raised people from the dead.
Christ Himself raised Lazarus and others from the dead.
Christ’s resurrection however was unique in several ways.

• *Christ’s resurrection was permanent.*
All other people raised from the dead, died again later on.
Romans 6:9 NIV
“For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, he cannot die again; death no longer has mastery over him.”

• *Christ’s resurrection was in fulfillment to bible prophecy.*
1 Corinthians 15:3-4 NKJV
“For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures.”

• *Christ rose from the dead to occupy the highest position in the God’s kingdom.*
Acts 2:32-33 NKJV
“This Jesus God has raised up, of which we are all witnesses. Therefore being exalted to the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, He poured out this which you now see and hear.”

May you be a beneficiary of all the goodness released through Christ’s resurrection.
May you recover all lost blessings, favours and assets, in Jesus’ name.
