Morning Message of Motivation – The New Testament 12

Morning Message of Motivation
The New Testament 12
By Rev. Robert Ampiah-Kwofi
In summary, we note that Jesus Christ had five major witnesses of His deity and His mission as our Messiah.
Angelic witnesses
First of all were the angels that announced His conception, birth, name and mission.
The angel said to Joseph,
Matthew 1:21
“And she (Mary) will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.”
John the Baptist
John boldly proclaimed Him as Saviour.
John 1:29 NKJV
“The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, “Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!”
Christ’s works
The miracles and signs that Jesus worked in His Father’s name and with His power.
John 5:36 NKJV
“But I have a greater witness than John’s; for the works which the Father has given Me to finish—the very works that I do—bear witness of Me, that the Father has sent Me.”
God the Father
The Father Himself testified of Christ.
Matthew 3:17: NKJV “And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”
The Holy Scriptures
Jesus fulfilled every prophecy in the Scriptures concerning the Messiah.
John 5:39 NKJV:
“You search the Scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life; and these are they which testify of Me.”
Jesus Christ came into this world to save sinners.
He took on Himself the same human nature that we have.
He became our representative.
He became our substitute.
2 Corinthians 5:21 NKJV
“For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.”
You are complete in Him.
You are blessed in Him.
You are righteous in Him.
May you succeed in all your endeavours, in Jesus’ name.
NB:
If you want to be Born-Again and become God’s child, and have your sins forgiven, then say this prayer aloud.
Dear Father, I come to you in Jesus’ name.
Forgive me and cleanse me of my sins. Lord Jesus, please come into my heart and be my Lord and Saviour.
Amen.
